🤬 Accelerator Update #3: More Videos Dropped, End In Sight!

Happy Saturday friends not in Australia! I wanted to drop a quick note on my progress with the Accelerator videos.

First: I just posted 3 more to the site, which you can see at https://app.bigmachine.io/courses/accelerator/auth-part-2. That's the first one - there are two more after that which complete the Authentication section.

Sort of. You see... I got completely blocked this last week and it made me incredibly frustrated. I kept thinking "if I wasn't recording this I would just rip this crap out and rebuild this part!" Which is frustrating, but it's also very real.

Which, of course, I'm trying to keep to (being real). So I freed myself to do exactly what I would do and I tore out a huge chunk of the application and went on an absolute tear over the last week. No one builds something perfectly the first time, do they?

I originally thought I might add a little suspense to the story but I guess I'll just tell you: I decided to move everything to Supabase. I've used it a bit before and love the service plus it's free. I didn't want to have a 3rd-party service like this but ... like I said... if I'm keepin it real and we're building an MVP, this is what I would do. So far, it's paid off in a huge way... I think you'll dig it.

I'm recording episode 27 today, which will wrap up the first "sprint", if you will, and I'll transition to deployment after that. I'm a little behind on editing but that goes quickly which is the best news ever because I am still on target for a mid-August completion date!

Right then - you have 3 more videos to watch and I'm hoping to drop more during my nights/weekends this week!
