Jon Skeet is joining me tomorrow, hope you are too!

The Turn Yourself Into a Plugin workshop is kicking off tomorrow at 11:00 PDT and I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be joined by Jon Skeet himself, who has graciously agreed to … ummm… “help” me by offering his more… “pragmatic” opinions on the use of AI while coding.

The workshop itself is 3 hours, and Jon will be there for the first half or so as he has some time constraints given it will be evening in his part of the world.

If you don’t know who Mr. Skeet is, well you should. He’s been the #1 ranked user on StackOverflow in… forever I think.

He likes to read the C# specification to his children for bedtime, and has a lovely British accent.

I’ve known Jon for a very long time, going all the way back to my Tekpub days, when we would record fun videos together for all things .NET.

I can’t tell you how happy I am that he’s agreed to join us, and keep me on my toes! Anyway: I hope you can join us for a high-volume, fun time where we take what’s in your head and put it down into a set of useful skills and commands for whatever tooling you’re using (Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, OpenCode, Pi…).

This is one of the main keys to writing outstanding code with AI: tight instructions that reflect your real world experience! That goes hand-in-hand with orchestration and custom tooling, which is what we discuss in the Summer Cohort. If you’d like to join that, this workshop is “Session 0”, and you can apply the cost directly to the cohort!

Hope to see you tomorrow… Rob
